These were some of my original sketches I had made in blender to get an idea of how I would want it to look.

In the next stage I had found the general shape I wanted to use, so I started experimenting with different materials.

In had also made a fake company that would fit in the universe of cyberpunk, this was inspired by the company Arisaka.

At this point I had a better idea of what materials I wanted, I went for a gun black metal, along with a red middle. however I wanted it to have a "living material" much like a lava lamp.

Here I had used a lava lamp like texture in video format, this meant that the texture would slightly move each frame making it look alive. along this I had also made a height map using that same video in black and white, creating ridges and color differences.
